Load a 600kg pallet in a Van? Co-Mac’s Super Heavy-Duty Drawer Slides come to the rescue!

Van with 600kg on drawer slides

Stress Test with 800kg of blocks.  *We do not recommend you try this, as it will cause premature failure and/or permanent damage to your slides.

Now that is a full load. Held by our 5005 – Super Heavy Duty Drawer Slides, which are rated to a massive 600kg! We decided to stress test with 800kg of blocks.  *We do not recommend you try this, as it will cause premature failure and/or permanent damage to your slides.

While these industrial drawer slides might have been up to this short test, we are not sure our vans suspension was! So we took some blocks off. Now with 600kg stacked and within the safe rating limit of these slides, the drawer was so easy to move that Co-Mac Boy could do it single handed!

What are super heavy duty drawer slides made of?

Our 5005 - Super Heavy Duty Drawer Slide come as a pair and are rated to 600kg. Made from steel with a durable zinc plated finish, the left and right rail can be installed to the width of the drawer you require. At 1500mm long these slides extend 1180mm, or ¾ extension.

How are they able to move so smoothly with 600kg?

The hero of these slides is the heavy duty roller bearings. The 2 bearings per slide (4 total per pair) guide the drawer within the cavity, up to 600kg.  These bearings allow the drawer to move smoothly and quietly, even with such heavy loads.
